Swiss citizens or foreign nationals with a residence permit can set themselves up in any business; no specific permission is required. If the total annual turnover of the business exceeds CHF 100,000, the owner of the business is obliged to register the business in the Commercial Register. There are no legal audit or disclosure requirements.
